Two things happened today:
1- My husband left the car key and house key in the car after coming back home from lunch and grocery shopping. The house key has always been attached to the car key and our spare keys were inside our house. We were panicked for a while but luckily we live in family dormitary facilitated by the university so the office has the master key with them. I wonder what would happen if they dont have the master keys.
2- Umar pushed our little Falah and Falah's head knocked at a chair for ??? time, I'm not sure. Falah cried loudly, not long though, and Umar got punishment from me, of course. My husband was praying while I was in the toilet and could hear the knock sound. Falah's head got bruised/swollen, quite big but it gone after I put our favorite cream. A few days ago I read a story about a 7 month old baby died because the baby's head knocked to something hard. Since then I became so worried everytime Falah fell down and his head knocked to something. I feel like going to the hospital and get his head scanned but Falah's seems ok, still playing and laughing as usual after the incident. I hope nothing bad happen to my kids, amin. From now onward I have to keep eyes on my kids more constantly...
Abang is what we Malay usually call our husbands. There is a field in the university area which the scenery there is so beautiful in autumn so before all gone I suggested to Abang to have a picnic there. Despite being busy with his presentation he agreed and yesterday morning before going to his lab we went to the field and had a picnic. I just made some Japanese rice balls. We took about 300 photos since start walking to the field, during eating and on the way back home..hehehe
And I also want to thank my hubby for cooking dinner to us last night, it was mutton curry. It was super duper yummy..He is really good at cooking curry..my curry taste is suck..so everytime I feel like eating curry I'll request him to cook. He wont mind at all if I can prepare all the ingredients for him and he just cook..
Thank you thank you thank you luv u so much! :))

Lots more photos to share here, just don't have much time to edit and upload here. The size are too big and takes time to upload..huh.
The scenery here is getting nicer, would be very nice within another 1-2 weeks. We are planning to have a picnic at Doho Park next week. Hooray!
Hehe..we was planning to buy this seat for Falah but after tested it at our friend's house we cancelled our plan..already tooo tight for him!! *sigh*
Falah has turned 5 months on 10th Oct and weighing about 10 kg. I was just playing with my camera shooting Falah's portraits and this came out as my favorite. Not really sure what's so special but I just love this photo :)
Yesterday I realized my belly is getting bigger..I wonder is it because I'm eating too much lately or is it....????
Oh no...I don't think so..At least not now!!
I am still breastfeeding my baby and don't have period yet since pregnant so it's difficult to predict. We are planning to have 4 or 5 kids and the next would be 2011 when we have gone back to Malaysia for good but if God wants to give earlier we should be grateful, but we just not ready yet, especially thinking of our little home...too small to raise 3 kids plus Falah still needs my attention. We are thinking to take the pregnant prevention pills but afraid of the side effect, I mean getting fat, pimples etc..
I have a friend who was born in Jan and her brother in Dec in the same year, so it means her mother got pregnant when she was 3 months old..huh!
We send Umar to a Kinder (it's like a child care, not the real kinder) nearby our house about twice or three time a
week. Each time we only send him for about 3 hours because the fee is quite expensive for us. We pay for about 400 yen per hour. Here special price will be given if one of the parents is studying and the other must be employed. But since I am not employed we cannot get the discounted price. In Japan they encourage the small kids to be grown up at home by their parents. I agree, but we just send Umar for a few hours a week to get him prepared to the real kinder, expose him to Japanese Language and to let him play and mix with other kids.
I am not really sure but I think the kinder is managed by a couple of husband and wife in late 60 and the principal is the wife's mother, whom I think already about 80 years old, but she is still in good health.
Last Saturday the Kinder held a Sports Day. We woke up early at about 7 am. I prepared some food- rice ball and fried
noodle. Since Umar only goes the kinder a few hours a week he was quite blurred. He participated in 2 events, short distance race and roll a ball with daddy. The funny thing was during the race when everybody was running he just walked normally..blurred as if nothing happened around him..hehehe..Although did not win any events Umar also received the "Yoku Gambarimashita" medal..It means "well done or you have strived hard" something like that. It was a new experience for Umar and we enjoyed the day very much :))
Now I'll introduce my 1st son.
Name: Umar Mishary bin Mohd Afendi
Nickname: Umar
DOB: 12/12/2005 (supposed to be 5/12..1 week overdue)
POB: Seremban, Malaysia. (I'm from Terengganu, his father is from Kelantan..how the heck he was born at Seremban...)
TOB: about 8 pm
Hobby: Watching Sesame Street, Singing ABC and 123 Songs, Jumping here and
there, throwing things everywhere and makes his Ummi shout every half
and hour...
Umar is now 2 and 9 months yo but still cannot speak like other toddlers. He
calls me Ami ( supposed to be Ummi ) and his father Uwed (supposed to be Walid, sometimes sounds like Uwekk...hehehe). He already recognized A-Z & 1-10 since 2 yo, and he LOVES alphabets and numbers very much. He is not really keen of others toys. If he has a toy car and alphabets/numbers to choose to play with, he would choose the alphabets/numbers. And he also loves balloons very much. Once the were times he wanted to bring ballons everywhere he went..school, park, restaurants..huh..Since he was a baby he hardly slept well at night. I was quite stressed but luckily I stayed with my parents until he 1 yo and my mom helped me a lot. I thought this would end when we came to Japan, but still he woke up at night ..almost every night at 2-3 am..sometimes whinned and cried until 2 hours and it made me feel headache, stress and dizzy most of the time. Sometimes he woke up because feeling itchy, sometimes because he got bad dreams and sometimes I just didn't know why. Most of the time because of itchiness. We brought him to see the doctor to examine his skin, and the doctor gave a few kinds of lotion, but they did not really work. We made allergy test on him and the result he only has dust allergy. I also suffer from sinus which caused by house dust but it does not make my skin itchy.
Recently we brought him to another smaller clinic, it's like a kid specialist. The doctor examined and said he got 'Atopic eczema', a kind of skin disease. She gave a more powerful lotion and finally the lotion worked on him and until now he sleeps better..alhamdulillah.
Umar is very active, quite hyperactive I think. He also hardly eat, he just wants milk and milk and milk...in his bottle. Sometimes I just cannot stand his mischief that makes me spank him (usually at his back)..I tried to avoid but I just can't stand it. I don't have enough patience to handle that..And these things always make me think that I am not a good mom. Sometimes when he sleeps I look at his face, I kiss him and feel so sorry for him. I know I am not supposed
to do that, he is still a child, he needs to play but when he is doing something that might endanger his brother, like throwing hard things everywhere, after advice and shout not working, I would spank him. I am glad his father is more patient than me..Huh..Whatever it is, he is still my son. I love him as well as I love his little brother, Falah. I really hope God will bestow more patience to me in handling my kids, amin.
Today my baby turns 4 months..how fast time flies!
Since I am new to Vox, let me introduce my 2nd son :
Name: Mohd Falah Huzaify b Mohd Afendi (What a long name! )
Nickname: Falah , means "success" in Arabic.
DOB : 10th May 2008 (1 day later than the due date)
POB : Tsuchiura Hospital, Ibaraki, Japan. (Nice hospital with nice and beautiful nurses ;) )
TOB: 8.22 am (normal delivery)
Weight : 3.50 kg ( Now 7.5 kg)
Height : 50 cm (Now 62cm)
He is fully breastfed baby. I did not expect him to born on 10th May. My youngest brother and a friend also born on the same date. I also have a cousin born on that date ..and i found that these people are "lasak" (hyperactive) people..haha..Since I had difficulty to handle my eldest son, Umar, during his baby time, I hope Falah is not that lasak and easy to handle :)
Will blog about my dear Umar later :)
