Last weekend we had 3 continuous Eid & Birthday parties~On Friday night at Dr Sohaimi's house, On Saturday at Prof Wan's house and on Sunday at Nor's house in Tokyo. Coincidally last Friday (12 Dec) was Umar's 3rd birthday, so I made a birthday cake (carrot cheese cake) and brought to our Eid party at Prof Wan's house on Saturday. About 20 people joined the party, 5 families and the others are Tsukuba University students. Most of our photos didnt turn out so good, we still need to learn more about shooting indoor. Recently I love to put film effects on my photos, I dont know why but I just love classic look photos.

A friend of mine, Nor, whom I knew her since 2000, invited me to her son's birthday party on last Sunday. The distance from my house to her house is about 70 km, so it should take about 1.5 hours to arrive there but since we dont have a navigator in our car, we got lost a few times and the drive took about 3.5 hours. Huh..Hubby really wants a navigator but since we are planning to buy a new car with a navigator so hubby preferred not to buy the navigator now.

Nor requested me to make chocolate cake for the party, she wanted to pay but my husband said just give the cake as a gift to her son. The cake didnt turn out nicely, the base didnt stick together so you just imagine how the cake turned out when I took it out from the cake pan..it looked like the moon's surface..hehe..I should have taken the pic..but I covered the ugliness by decorating it with icing cream, strawberries and cooking choc so this was how the cake turned out finally..I really not good at using the deco pen, I hate my writing on that cake but overall the cake was not too bad I think ;)

These are some food prepared by Nor and her friends. I think there were more than 10 kind of food but only these photos turned out not too bad. This is the birthday boy..Hafiy..he's such a cutie, isnt he? :D

Yesterday Falah turned 6 months, means he's already half year old, how fast time flies. I'm so happy I managed to take care of him without any help from others. We are so lucky that Falah is very easy to take care of compared to Umar. Umar was grown up by me and his grandparents until he was 1 yo.

I have started to give Falah solid food since yesterday. I just blended the mix veggie and he loved it!
I learned from some source from the internet that kids tend to be picky eaters if they are introduced with fruit first. I'm not sure it's true or not but I did introduce fruits first to Umar and he is now a very picky eater. Vegetable is a no-no at all! But luckily sometimes he does eat carrots. So I think I am going to start feeding Falah vegetables first.

Now Falah is learning to crawl. When he wakes up in the morning usually he will say 'bababah' and smile when looking at his dad's sleepy face...hehehe

Ohh and not forget to mention that now changing his diapers is a big battle war! Huh!

Falah has turned 5 months on 10th Oct and weighing about 10 kg. I was just playing with my camera shooting Falah's portraits and this came out as my favorite.  Not really sure what's so special but I just love this photo :)

Yesterday I realized my belly is getting  bigger..I wonder is it because I'm eating too much lately or is it....????
Oh no...I don't think so..At least not now!!

I am still breastfeeding my baby and don't have period yet since pregnant so it's difficult to predict. We are planning to have 4 or 5 kids and the next would be 2011 when we have gone back to Malaysia for good but if God wants to give earlier we should be grateful, but we just not ready yet, especially thinking of our little home...too small to raise 3 kids plus Falah still needs my attention. We are thinking to take the pregnant prevention pills but afraid of the side effect, I mean getting fat, pimples etc..

I have a friend who was born in Jan and her brother in Dec in the same year, so it means her mother got pregnant when  she was 3 months old..huh!

Actually I am supposed to laugh watching Falah's giggling but I think his daddy's cough and sneeze is funnier..hehehe

It was quite a hectic week. Now I've just came back from Eid party held at our friend's (Mr Radzian and Kak Arini) house. I made chocolate cake, ayam masak merah and nasi himpit. Kak Rini prepared nasi minyak, rendang, kuah lodeh and kuah kacang. I will upload the pics of the food later :-)

On last Saturday my son's kinder held a sports day. It started at about 8 am. I woke up early to prepare some Onigiri (Japanese Rice Ball) and fried bee hoon. Will post about this in another entry.

I have  2 piles of laundry to be folded and cleaned..huhh!

This is a pic of Yokozuna Asashooryuu Junior. FYI, Asashooryuu is a famous Sumo wrestler in Japan...Many people said my little Falah looks like him..hehehe..

My baby Falah is growing bigger and fatter everyday. I think he is too heavy for a 4 months baby. He BF too much!
I hope he is not going to be a fat boy when he grows up..hehehe..

His smile makes my day brighter !  

 

Today my baby turns 4 months..how fast time flies!

Since I am new to Vox, let me introduce my 2nd son :

Name: Mohd Falah Huzaify b Mohd Afendi (What a long name! )
Nickname: Falah , means "success" in Arabic.
DOB : 10th May 2008 (1 day later than the due date)
POB : Tsuchiura Hospital, Ibaraki, Japan. (Nice hospital with nice and beautiful nurses ;) )
TOB: 8.22 am (normal delivery)
Weight : 3.50 kg ( Now 7.5 kg)
Height : 50 cm (Now 62cm)

He is fully breastfed baby. I did not expect him to  born on 10th May. My youngest brother and a friend also born on the same date. I also have a cousin born on that date ..and i found that these people are "lasak" (hyperactive) people..haha..Since I had difficulty to handle my eldest son, Umar, during his baby time, I hope Falah is not that lasak and easy to handle :)
